Bioessenza Cricket League (“BCL”) is operated by Bioessenza Sports Private Limited (“Company”). This Anti-Doping Code (“Anti-Doping Code”) is adopted as part of the rules and regulations governing all participants, including Players and Team Officials, in all BCL matches and related events.

The Company, through issuance of this Anti-Doping Code, seeks to ensure that all participants engage in fair play, uphold the spirit of cricket, and refrain from any conduct that could violate anti-doping standards. Any matter involving suspected violations shall be addressed by the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee in a fair and timely manner.

2. Conduct of Participants

2.1. All Players and Team Officials are automatically bound by and required to comply fully with every provision of this Anti-Doping Code.

2.2. All Players and Team Officials acknowledge and agree:

a) It is their personal responsibility to understand and comply with all requirements of this Anti-Doping Code, including awareness of what constitutes an anti-doping violation.

b) To submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee of BCL for all matters arising under this Anti-Doping Code.

c) Not to initiate or pursue any proceedings in any court or forum that conflict with the foregoing submission to the jurisdiction of the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee.

3. Offences

3.1. The following conduct, if committed by a Player or Team Official at any time during or in connection with a BCL Match or activity, shall constitute an offence under this Anti-Doping Code:

a) Engaging in any conduct that involves the use, possession, distribution, or administration of prohibited substances or prohibited methods as defined by recognised anti-doping authorities.

b) Attempting to circumvent or evade anti-doping regulations through any means, including tampering with samples or testing procedures.

c) Refusing to submit to sample collection, testing, or any investigative procedure outlined under this Anti-Doping Code.

4. Sanctions

4.1. If the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee determines that an offence under this Anti-Doping Code has been committed, an appropriate sanction shall be imposed on the Player or Team Official.

4.2. The Committee shall determine the term of suspension or other sanction based on the nature and severity of the offence, and may, in serious cases, permanently bar the individual from participating in BCL events.

4.3. All decisions made by the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee under this Anti-Doping Code shall be final and binding on all stakeholders, including Players, Team Officials, teams, and associated parties.

5. Amendments and Interpretation

5.1. The Company may amend this Anti-Doping Code from time to time, with such amendments taking effect on the date specified by the Company.

5.2. Headings used in this Anti-Doping Code are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of the provisions to which they relate.

5.3. If any provision of this Anti-Doping Code is held to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal for any reason, the remainder of the Code shall continue in full force and effect, with the invalid provision deemed severed.
